I take back what I said. Actually either flat or Van is what you make it. Which has more volume then it's Flat

I run a lot of West coast freight & a lot of Canadian freight. That's what works for me. Everyone has to find their niche here. If you wanna stay in the same 10 state area you can do it if you have very little overhead.
Mercer is a flatbed company. That is what 99% of people forget when they lease on here pulling van. You will not make the same money as a flat in a calendar year. This is not your typical van company. It's difficult to learn the lanes & stay productive until you find what works best for you. -
