Like @TaylorMade407 said, everyone's net is gunna be different. I have months well over $10K...I have months where I don't feel like working and I see $0!!!!
@spyder7723 always makes a point, pulling flat @ Mercer is where it's at. Can you make money pulling van, absolutely. But when you see the flat rates you will be wondering why you have a box behind ur truck!Dakine Thanks this. -
I just spoke to a van guy here in person, he said that there are more vans now than they have freight for, so that just made choosing very simple, no vans for this guy. Maybe I'll run into some of you guys once I get signed on. Thanks again for all your info.Truckin_Texas91411 Thanks this.

Salt lake always has been a black hole. I never load there, maybe pass through, that's good enough for me. A couple times a year. My kids are grown so it's not like they "need" me to be there all the time.

I'm out west, but I'm flat. Can't help the van side too much all I can say is that at any given time there is usually more van freight than flat. Rate "normally" are not the same but often are close. As with flat freight we have good paying loads and bad paying loads.
Truckin_Texas91411 and Dakine Thank this. -
Are you out west right now? I'm in Bakersfield @ Flying J, doing my reset, out of here in the morning.

So a question off the topic, who owns a Harley or other brand of bike? My pride and joy is my 2011 Street Glide.
