    i have my own llc and dot numbers does my truck have to be under my llc or can it be in my personal name and i just use it under my dot number

    You can own it, just put “Leased to Xyz company” on truck, then your dot numbers

    Don’t forget a lease agreement to put in truck for a few states, Oklahoma wants one i know

    Mine would tell you to keep your name off of the door and run it under the LLC. You will also have legal protections of personal assets in the case of an accident by running it under an LLC.

    You want the title/regiatation and lease in the same 'name' using the LLC tax EIN number on the lease to keep the legal begles happy

    Every one has a different situation, and it may be the best interest for the op to talk to their accountant.

    But I agree, mine said no trucks in my name, however

    You don’t have the protections with an llc, any lawyer telling you that is lying.
