I drive by there weekly on my way to I-45 southbound. There's warning lights that flash for anything over 14ft high to take the Taylor St exit. He could avoided this mess but decided not to.

Those over height warning lights aren't always accurate. I had one flash at me a couple weeks ago and I was almost a foot shorter than the bridge. A bridge I go under regularly.Texasgordo Thanks this.

I always get the warning lights too pulling a dry van but I know I'm not over 14ft.
