They will give you a choice gulliatine or firing squad.

You should be fine. I once was hauling the plastic tubes they put tampons in from Iowa to Tampax in Dover, DE. The boxes were falling over aganist one door. Opened one door. Got first skid off. Hand unloaded next then the pulled out opened other door. Everything was fine.

I should add that they are actually stacked three high in the middle and not two like I stated. Just an all around dumb way to of loaded me.

There is a huge difference between tampax and watermelons.
I guarantee the receiver is going to reject that load.

Not sure if anybody pointed this out - if my wife was in the vehicle in between you and the truck with the blowout - and you performed evasive maneuvers to avoid hitting her avoiding the swerving truck . . .

    Old story - "ain't no load worth . . . "

Either way - no human damage, you did good. You can grow more melons.

Problem is, the damage is at the front of the trailer. He would have to explain the shortage to his boss.
I'd just deliver the load and take the hit.

And don't tell the receiver you slammed on the brakes or he may reject the whole load.
