Nothing new really. All of the eurotrash running from Chicago to California love to wreck in the snow storms in Iowa. Seen all kinds of crazy #### on that stretch.

Lot of cars and trucks. Bad one was that kenworth on the westbound side. Ditch so deep the impact shifted the load and broke thru the front of the trailer into the cab.
Pilot off of i380 near cedar falls.stevep1977 and mickimause Thank this. -
TA ... Exit 160 I20 Mississippi...headed to Hattiesburg.
stevep1977 and mickimause Thank this. -
Oh wow. There was one jack knifed in the ditch on the eastbound side. Glad I stopped for the night in Minnesota on Monday instead of trying to run my last hours out and get into Iowa. Sometimes you have to know when to shut it down. I wonder if it is just drivers thinking they can get through it or what but I saw a good half dozen or so in the ditch between Des Moines and Cedar Rapids heading home this afternoon.stevep1977 Thanks this.

I lied. They ARE all jumbos. Down to just 4 ahead of me, though...if the tanker gods are smiling on me, they'll all be propane. It loads faster than butane
stevep1977 and Fajo Thank this. -
You'll see at least that many every single time there is a snow storm in Iowa. There was a 20+ vehicle crash on I80 in Altoona, IA on Tuesday. That's just the norm out that way, crashes, fatalities, vehicles in the ditch, etc etc.

снег не может остановить меня
Speaking of wrecks did anyone else see the wreck a few days ago where the truck rolled over at the 77/85 split in Charlotte where 77 south makes the tight banked curve? Man that was a mess. Must have happened around 1600 or so. -
Holy Mary Mother of God it's cold!!!!! Locks frozen, o-rings frozen, mickimause frozen, hydraulic oil frozen (okay, maybe not frozen, but sluggish as H-E-Doublehockeysticks), and did I mention mickimause frozen? The methanol appeared to still be liquid, though...and since the inside of my trailer is a balmy 15°F, the propane is still liquid.
Is winter over soon???????rickybobby and stevep1977 Thank this. -
sounds like a common day in Wyoming. =)mickimause Thanks this.
