Seems like it's common thing now to see ramps stolen from stepdecks. What's best way to secure them so they don't grow feet at night? Chains around and massive locks?

Put them on top front of upper deck, secure it, then tarp the ramps.
People will think you just got a partial load up there.
If you really want to get creative when you pull over for the night stick on some hazmat placards onto the tarps, like radioactive to scare anyone away from even wanting to peak under the tarps. -
Welding some upright pins with a hole on the end.
Drop your ramps over the pins and put a lock on.
Depending on your ramps, you might need to drill a couple of holes. -

I’ve got a motion activated solar rechargeable flood lamps in the corner of my trucks fairing. I turn it off going down the road, on at the truck stop. They’re pretty dam bright.
My friend has his chained up, but also has a couple soda cans filled with rocks, and some bells from hobby lobby tied on with fishing line tucked up where u won’t see em till u pull em out. -
Leave them in the normal spot and put a pull rope somewhere hooked to a train horn….ramp starts to come out of the cradle horn lets loose and everyone knows where to look…
