Longest you have gone empty/bobtail?

    I always owned my on truck and ran my on signs, so pretty much went where and when I wanted, I am a mountain type of guy and have taken some roads that are not normally taken by trucks. I have seen some spectacular scenery like that and wouldn't change it for the world.

    My first trip to Alaska, I spent 25 days tooling around the state, checking it out, would have stayed longer if a broker didn't offer me one of those rare loads out. By the time I got through the traffic in Seattle, I was ready to turn around and bring that load back. ll

    Back in the day Nestle pissed me off greatly, so...

    I dropped their trailer in Cali and bobtailed back to Illinois.. Fuel was under a dollar a gallon back then so I didn’t think twice about it. Now a days I don’t think I’d do that. Actually now a days I won’t go to Cali so it won’t happen.


    Does Nestle even still have owner/ops ?

    I honestly don’t know it’s cheaper to broker out the work to bottom feeders so they might not.
