I agree we should be constantly checking our mirrors and listening to our CB. It is quite maddening to try to contact another open deck trucker on the CB about a securement issue, only to find they aren't listening or don't have a CB. We can't just pop a seal on the back and drive, but have to constantly watch for loose straps, chains, and dunnage. Once wrong move, sudden turn and our load could (and does) go wrong in a heart beat.
