It won't let me do pm yet. Do they do that zip code to zip code miles? I'm not sure what it's called but I call it free driving. And the keys, do 1 in 6 fit your truck?

 

Practical miles. Normally less than you actually drive, but not a lot less if you don't take long detours.

I do not know if the old Freightliner key trick works on the newer trucks.

You will do some free driving, but not a lot. If you are forced to go out of route by more than a few miles for service, or road closure, winter weather, wind advisories, whatever, document it.

 

It makes sense if they trim off extra miles accrued by taking a preferred route. If there's literally no shorter route aside from taking that truck off roading through some corn fields and they consistently cut 40 miles off... Adds up. I'm told frequently this is normal through the whole industry

I read something about Crete billing drivers for repairs. Is that normal or fluke in your opinion?
