Safeway grocers looking for scabs, $20/hr. Oh, BTW,( disclaimer) current labor dispute may be in progress. Chinatown giving you the raspberries on the cruise ship thing, however, if I was to do it all again, I'd pick a cruise ship over trucking anyday, but that's not going to happen. You simply couldn't have picked a worse time to be job hunting. Trucking, along with the world, is going down the toilet, companies fail DAILY, and nothing is being done. You've certainly ran the gamut and proof that nobody is hiring, except maybe Walmart and Amazon. Used to be, you could put in some "time" at a crappy company, and look while you drove. Doesn't work that way anymore, and while I don't recommend crossing a picket line, there are jobs paying $20/hr, or more, and have nothing to do with trucking. Let's see where this ICE thing goes. Could be all kinds of jobs soon,,,

I can answer that since I'm the one who moved it for you. The Jobs Forum is for companies to post job openings, so most of the views in that forum are from members who are looking for a new job. You're asking for options and advice, so moving it into one of the other forums will give you a lot more views, therefore more help.

And I put it in the New Drivers Forum because frankly, your work history is going to have you looked at more like a new driver than an experienced driver. Except you already have more negatives than a new driver due to the job hopping, demands, etc.

Good luck, though. If anybody can help you find a good job, these guys can do it, so I think your thread is in a good place for you.

HMD is Chicago-based, Lithuanian-owned, and not a place I’d ever consider working for. Google Earth search their addresses to see what their facilities look like.

There is something really wrong …

    Ok what are the tickets?

    5 in 3 is bad.
    What?!?

provide details, real provable details, not make beleive,
Oh hell yes it is, this hiring environment will not allow job jumpers to find a job, we need to get rid of 20% more drivers.

excuses … if I had to, I go where the jobs are, even if I have to beg myself to that place.

I agree. The whole notion that someone can make more working fast food is thinking that doesn't come from a smart person. I'll never understand that logic.

12 hr shifts at 24 per hour is bad money? You must not be very good in math.
