The same thing happens to me every time I run the I-5 from Canada. I get between Bellingham, WA and the scale just before Burlington, WA. There is a part of the road that goes down hill (well many parts go down hill), but my truck slows down on this one spot. I run the mountains of BC all the time so I know what to expect. But this has me wondering.

Several years ago in New Orleans I was working for a samll company. One morning I was in my bedroom in a very deep sleep, dreaming about a small Cessna 172 airplane flying very low. It flew past a high tension electrical tower and crashes into the ground, I heard screams and woke up. Distraught, I look at my clock and it was 7:45 am central time, I decided to snooze for a few mins only to find myself in the same dream sequence. Again, I saw the little plane go down in a field next to the electrical tower and heard many many voices screaming just like the dream from before. I remember thinking how odd it was to have the same dream twice. I looked at the clock, It read 08:02 am. I had to be at work for nine. I quickly jumped into the shower, got dressed and hurried to work. While driving I was busy mentally planning my day. On the way to my job, my cellphone rang and it was my office calling. Mellissa, the office girl said, "where are you?", I told her I was on my way to the office and asked why? She said, the owner, Danny needed me to get there as soon as possible. I asked her, "is there a problem?" And she said , "haven't you heard". I said to mellissa, "heard what?" she said, " The Twin Towers in New York had been struck by airplanes and America is under attack". I continued to drive as fast as possible to work. I turned on the radio and heard the awfull news. Later, We all watched in horror as the Twin Towers came down. I stood there quietly thinking about my dream from earlier.
On September 11 at 08:46am Eastern Time, American Airlines flight 11 struck the North Tower. At 09:03 am United Airlines flight 175 struck the South Tower.
Freaks me out just thinking about it......Last edited: Jan 21, 2011

My brother had a heart attack in 2005. His wife called me and said the ambulance was taking him to the hospital. I rushed there and made it about the same time as the ambulance. He looked okay and I thought it was minor. We all sat in the waiting room which seemed like forever. The doctor come out finally. He was white as a ghost and looked exhausted. The doctor explained when they gave him a clot buster, my brother went into cardiac arrest. They shocked him eight times and twelve minutes passed since his heart stopped. Finally they got a beat.
They flew him to a bigger hospital 50 miles away. I beat the helicopter there I drove so fast. I had a little head start. After emergency bypass surgery, my brother recovered fine. Part of his heart died and he has a pacemaker now. The whites of his eyes were bloodshot red for three weeks from the clot buster. He looked like the devil.
After everything settled, I talked with my brother about his near death experience. He remembers getting the clot buster shot and fading out. He said he kept fighting it and fighting it. Then he remembers seeing an Indian at night standing on what he described was a lake two inches deep. The Indian never said a word. He just kept waving for my brother to come. My brother was like, I'm not going with you. The Indian turned and started walking away. Then he come to and was back in the hospital.anniewilder Thanks this. -

I love gravy so much, I probably would drink a glass of it. as long as I had some potatoes and roast beef nearby.

I didn't dream anything about 9/11, but the night of the tsunami in which 200,000 + people died, I was weirdly agitated and kept waking up and turning on lights in my house ~ 4 in all. ( I've never done that before or since.) I dreamt that I was walking along the ocean, which was calm, with one foot on the beach and the other in the water. The next day, I heard the news about the tsunami, and the death toll, which just kept getting worse and worse as the day went on.
