I work 4 days but I put in 50ish hours in them 4 days I do well in my opinion. More than u said you make now if that means anything. Like I said though I have a long route lots of miles and cases so I work a lot of hours some guys at my barn only get 42 43 hours in 4 days.

Yep I have a 4 day bid and occasionally work a 5th day for OT. Over the first 10 weeks of this year, I'm averaging 1550/wk

Edit: It’s actually 1300/wk over the first 12 weeks. I noticed they counted 12/16-12/30 as this year since the paycheck was on Jan 3. Still decent for 4 days of work most weeks.

your a problem child at your current company and they dont want you there so your response is to go get a physically demanding job at another company i dont think youll last 2 months at any food service company youll end up calling corprate 12 times as well saying the food is to heavy or its raining

funny thing is my terminal manager loves me because I don’t give them any hassle and I’ve had great monthly reviews. I’m always told I’m doing great for them. Maybe you need to reread what I have said. It has nothing to do with anyone getting rid of me and everything to do with having ambition and trying to transfer to the division of the company I originally applied for and trying to find out how I can do it. Interpreting what I have said as being a problem child instead of someone who knows what the want and goes after it 100% is a little odd to me. But thanks for you’re comment

We actually have a guy like that at an outlying yard. But he calls night dispatch after he checks his route. Cries that 10 stops is to many, take some off or this stop is to heavy, put it in another truck. Also has a habit of calling off. SOB is still here though,

I think every company has "that guy". Ours quit not to long ago and went to old dominion and I guess is doing the same crap over there running linehaul.

Wow. I wouldn't know what to do with that much time.

Eight stops (all in town), less than 40 miles drive) 1650 cases this last Wednesday, and that was a little light. Had to have an hour+ free at the end to make sure I had time to get my backhaul.

Last stop was 375 cases. Had 1:37 to get it done.

That's average for new guys, 100-120. Most experience guys can do double that. I say most because we have some slow experience guys and we are hourly.
20 stops, 794 cases(we only run 28's local), 83 miles on a route I have never done, 10.5 hours. Helps when you know where every stop is. I passed my house twice and finished in my old neighborhood, lol
