    Sent Lathrop a msg this morning, and right now they are on hold for transfers. Staffing issues. They did put me on a list, and said to keep in contact.

    Yeah ... scottie painted too rosey of picture. It's horrible place I tell you, just horrible.

    But in all seriousness blsqueak, you may also want to give some thought to SLC. After Lathrop, I almost consider it my second home terminal. I got my truck there and have always had a positve experience every time I go there.

    I have seen their ad looking to hire a couple of driver managers. Oftentimes at the weekend there is only one DM on staff, and will blast out a message to please not call in, use the qc.

    thanks. My only problem with SLC, I-80 in and out, along with I-15. Found out yesterday that before transfer they want me to talk to the Driver Relations person in HR. Like that will really help. Been waiting for a call back since yesterday morning, and yes, I know, it was Friday.

    Well, sort of the same with Lathrop. It's I80 over Donner or I5. With SLC if they are chaining on on Parleys, you can often sneak around on I84 through Ogdon without chains. No such option on Donner.

    Have to talk to the TM and FM on Monday here at Edwardsville when I return from my run. Good chance here. Really like the planners. they take care of L/O and they actually talk to you in person, not through a window. Heard lots of good things from those outta here, miles and they keep you running.
