Thanks for the replies drivers. Glad to see mostly everyone is on board with leaving them their cheap freight to sit. However there are those that do take them. Basically giving green light to continue to push out those cheap freights. Hopefully things pick up soon towards the beginning of the month of March.

    Rideandrepair and Brettj3876 Thank this.

I don't understand why the low rates? O listened to the SOTU and today's job report. According to those, supply should be high and demand should be low. We should all be having a hey day!
Oh well march will be here soon, HOPEFULLY an uptick in loads and rates will come with it. Because that's when all the guys in my segment who take the winter off, start coming back out.

    Rideandrepair and Boundtransport Thank this.

The corona virus has many Chinese ports shut down, so millions of shipping containers full of goods are being diverted to other countries, or are just sitting in warehouses. This has created a ripple effect around the world and disrupted shipping rates. They expect it to last into March.

That’s how I know things are really bad. Florida usually will have no great but decent loads going IN. NOW loads Going in are bad like every where else. This week I was in tx, pa, al, and nc.

I was in Ar, Va, Wv, Fl.. still in Fl due to “water in fuel” light, 4 hours later I got truck serviced here in Ocala..so of course I here I sit. Thought about bouncing up towards Atlanta, I have 20 hours left.. but can’t get motivated, thinking about the tv room..

It’s that time of year, volume down, capacity up. Simple supply and demand dictates the rates.

    Brettj3876 and runningman0661 Thank this.
