Pretty easy job?

 

Job is cake. I was making $1400 a week. SLC is on a higher pay scale than the Montana/Idaho barns. Winter time can suck and I swapped to P&D cause some RL stuff outside of work. I would go back to it if I could.

 

Where you on the extra board?

 

Yes I was. Most Montana drivers are cause our barns are so small and we don't have the freight volume to make bids. At least you can work your way up the chain down there.

 

Yeah. North Park. We work with those guys on a daily basis cause they cover small towns that are just too remote for us. Prolly the only company that runs worse equipment than us

UTC out of Copley Z's Ohio here. Line-haul extra-board. I run all hours, days and nights, whenever they call. Average 2200 to 2700 a week and 850 to 1050 take home, after taxes. Not a bad gig, easy job, mostly just running. A little drop and hook here and there and occasionally have to build a set. Easy money... Union!!
