Yeah i'm with you on that one buddy i remember years ago when the "Wynns " oil additives came out claiming to reduce you piston wear best thing for keeping fuel clean is putting extra filters on the company fuel bowser or just changing your trucks fuel filters at regular intervals.

Lucas has a good reputation. The family lives motorsports. I have a 2007 Impala with 135k on it. I get 33mpg at 70. Car runs like new. Floor it and nothing out the pipe. I run Valvoline synthetic and never have to add between changes. I buy the fuel system cleaner in bulk and put it in a smaller bottle. I know a mechanic that swears by the oil stabilizer for big trucks. Use it.

I don't know about this product but I am here to tell you Lucas fuel additive 100% for sure works on my truck. I won't fuel without it. I have done back to back to back to back tests with and without it. My Cummins runs better with it for sure. Very hard to explain to someone that has not experienced using it verses not using it.
It takes about 1200 gallons of fuel IMO for the injectors to start telling you they prefer fuel with Lucas.
And then it takes about 800 gallons with Lucas to bring back that smooth purr.Last edited: May 12, 2018
