If you sit around the trucker counter or read on the internet all newer model trucks all have nothing but check engine and after treatment issues, I haven’t had that experience since I started running def equipped trucks in 2010.
First def equipped truck was a 2012 Mack that had 220,000 on it when I bought it, I put 260,000 on it in just over 2 years before I traded it in for a new kw. It was in the shop three times while I had it for after treatment issues, twice for a sensor and once for a short in a harness all covered under the extended warranty it had on it when I bought it. The only reason I trade was to get a new truck with warranty.
I’m on my second new kw now and thinking in a year and a half or two years I’ll be trading for another Mack, I’ve missed my first one ever since I traded it, it’s still running across the country to this day I know cause it’s a very unique truck. 9DBFE6C9-19DE-401E-B12C-0622CD0FC41F.jpeg

That's a gorgeous truck. Honestly compared to the 2021 W900 I drove at my last job, I'd prefer this Pinnacle. Just a basic, plane Jane work truck but it still has everything I need. All the gauges, cabinets, wood grain and carpet. I had the tanks and wheels detailed and it looks amazing. For a 445 with a 10 speed and 3.55 rears it does a heck of a good job and after a 3,100 mile week my avg mpg is always around 6.8-7. Plus, my tare weight is 27,500! I get paid extra over 25 tons so I always have a smile on my face when I roll over the scale with 51,xxx net

Almost sounds like an E6 now that it's a mechanical fixed timing. Would like to get it on the dyno to see what's putting down. Leaves my uncle's 500 Detroit in the dust Lol

I wish I could drive one of these MP engines that have been "modified", all in all it's a hard pulling engine but the emissions system has been acting up lately, probably due to the hot weather and idle time.
