Even simpler, when you go to lunch on with your wife during the middle of a local run with MP tracking reply "stop" and you are no longer being tracked. When your wife drops you off at your truck reply "start" and the tracking is on again. How much easier can it get?

Some of you fellers would argue about whether the horse was actually dead if someone would just start a thread about it

Don't be fooled by the x's over the eyes, that horse ain't dead til his belly is bloated and his legs are sticking in the air.

I don't mind it so much because it generally lessens the need for a check call and makes the call that I do make even easier because they already know.

Now with genpro... it just helped upset me, you got me on macropoint and you want 3 calls a day??? I stop for my ten and you call me an hour in and ask what is happening??? "Well if I wasn't dealing with 5 of you you would have known what was happening cause I told the last guy my plan. Yes, I am about providing a service but come on, I'm not so inept to to advise you first thing if an issue arises. Lessen learned and note made if I do business with them again it will cost more.

As soon as I drop the load and do a confirmation call, I then immediately call macro point and hide myself. I don't think that they can still see me because I had a broker call me the other day for a load but I was over 800 miles away. Had he been able to see me he wouldn't have bothered to call me.

That are dangerous to the public..do to the fact the driver is woke up every 3 hours for a update..for a location .quit your job and find one that's not up ### for money..dot need to put a stop to this..or drives need to sue both.. company and macropoint

You know macropoint updates itself right? No input from the driver? It’s better then having to call and actually bother the driver. Make sense?

I think I have every tracking app known to man on my phone.

If it's a condition of the load, then it is what it is.

I don't mind the apps. I do mind the mediocre brokers that call for status updates.

The ones that are always in your ear are the same ones with bad addresses, bad appointment times. Guaranteed every time.

With ELDs I am resigned to being tracked too. I don't care anymore. I did fight it before, but not any more.
