Put you location on your profile.
Here's a few that hire new cdl grads:
    Abilene Motor Express-new trucks w/refrigerator/automatic transmissions/68 mph.
    J&R Schugel
    Magnum Ltd.
    Freymiller
    Navajo Express
    NFI Industries
    Lily Transportation
    Roehl National Fleet
Millis Transfer - must attend their full cdl school.
    Pride Transport
    Crete Carrier Corp.
    Sygma Network

All the above hire new cdl grads. If the websites have "experience required" the the website is not up to date. Submit several applications; the more the better for you.

    It's funny.
Started applications and interviews the beginning of June.
    Left house June 5.
Had 48 hrs off for infection in leg.
Some live loads/ unloads and tons of trailer issues.

Was shooting the breeze with my fm.
My numbers for the month of june.
    9500 paid miles.
    159% running.
I'm 59% over company driver average for the month.

    Told my fm....
See what happens when you let me off the leash?
    I run.
Too bad they forced me to send my resume out.
If they remotely kept me running regularly I wouldn't have.
Not bad for a first year driver...

    G13Tomcat and SHOJim Thank this.

@blairandgretchen , agreed. Rarely do people come back to 'high five' us'ns. . . more often to complain, as they 'oop's'd' . . . or just hated "where they were" altogether. KUDOS, @BostonTanker .... keep on keeping on!

Next time drivers start posting those horrible negative remarks and trying to discourage you; ask them "If it's so bad, why are you still driving?"

Just chiming in because I'm in the mood to type. I could state so many negatives about driving truck that it would make driving truck seem like hell on earth. I'm still driving because it fits me...period. If driving fits you, you can't imagine yourself doing anything else. You would rather die than do anything else.

Many truckers aren't happy unless their griping about something. Seems to be part of the culture.
