They're based not too far from where I live in Dearing, GA. As far as I know they are mostly owner operators with a few company trucks. I believe I read another post some time ago listing their percentages and what not and it didn't seem too bad. From what I hear, they let the drivers run how they want to, pay nice percentages, and have trailers for lease if you don't have one. They do have a website and I believe you can speak to someone in the office.
    Here's the website:

I left MAG carriers last year because I moved to California. They do not have a CA# so cannot do intrastate loads in California. Otherwise, I would never leave them. They only take 10% from rate sheet. You book your own loads via Internet Truck Stop or DAT.

For that 10%, you get discounted insurance rates of about $650/month. Get .40 to .50 discount off pump price. National account on tires. 40% fuel advance once loaded.

If you want to do flatbed/Stepdeck, you need your own trailer and need 3 years experience with them. They can rent or do lease purchase on Dryvans.

MAG is very strict about 90 day inspections. Also, if you get an Out of Service on equipment in the first year, you will be let go.

    Elog with Keeptruckin.

How do they get that much fuel discount with such a small fleet? I’m with an 800 truck company and don’t get much over 50.
