The more questions I ask, the more I am looking forward to working there.
Just a bit of humor...every time I mention the name of my new company, my wife says it makes her think I am going to be hauling condoms...As in the super size 'Magnums'...which made me wonder about her a bit...I don't know anyone who would expose her to that particular product. (I also said to her 'I hope that doesn't mean they are going to be big dicks to work for....hahaha'...I told her to think of Dirty Harry....with the 44 Magnum, maybe it'll get her mind out of the gutter and get it up on the curb with mine.tucker and runningman0661 Thank this. -
Different business model, lots of waiting for meat loads and they run to Canada so really long runs which some prefer.
As to the paper vs e-log, I think we all know why some prefer paper LOL... -
I've gotten a few giggles and whispers between female clerks when I go in to get a scale tickets... I'm assuming the obvious....
Magnum is also one of best ice cream bars you can buy...
Winnyf1 Thanks this. -
I would think so. They are pretty laid back down there.... Call and ask.

Sitting in IL with a load of bird seed for Farm and Fleet...two stop trip, reload and then home for a day and a half...then back out to get some miles before Thanksgiving.
Welcome to the new Magnum drivers starting this week.supersnackbar and ncmickey Thank this. -
I was told today that Magnum is thinking about turning on the people Net NAV system 10 trucks to start as a test. I'm also told it uses the same maps that dispatch uses. Is this the start of micro routing?

Talked with one of the drivers who's truck has it. Still really buggy and not working, according to one member of the management team, they don't want to change the current model with respect to driver management but time will tell.Rock6531 Thanks this.
