Magnum is a great place to start OTR, at least for reefers. If you come out way my best advice to you is reach out to people who are experienced here and willing to help. Several of us will PM you our numbers so you have someone to call with questions.

This thread is an awesome resource but there are many times you can't wait and orientation for experienced drivers leaves out lots of little things. Being successful here is mostly about learning our system and lanes, the drivings pretty much like any truck driving job.

They are expanding and parking is almost at a premium now.

 

I have refused product, joey is out of the office and I can't get anyone to respond in Fargo...you can tell it's Monday....the 13th. It's really starting to feel like I am back at Crete all over again.

Peoplenet messages. Any time I call I get v.mail, and then #####ed at because I am suppose to send messages instead, I guess so it can be verified when things inevitably get f'd up.

This isn't the 1st time this crap happens. Almost EVERY time I have an OSD issue, it hours before I get anyone to decide. This Whack-a-mole dispatch system might have worked for 100-150 trucks, but now it's only screwing things up. We either need more people in the office or some new people that can work 5 days in a row without having to take days off.
