Well does he have to, I mean you could be the foundation of our Western team
. Nice to have you back dude.

Wish I could, but a man has got to eat, and there is only so much bologna or ham sameches a person can eat.
I gotcha...
4 days for 1300 miles...I hope that wasn't the "good load" Nick had mentioned when he called, but didn't offer because I was swapping trucksLast edited: Jul 21, 2016

Going out west can be strategic, first you get layover, second you can be set up for a 2100 mile return. I had back to back paid 12 and 13K months going out west but ya gotta work with dispatch and sort of know the runs...
Thought of you today when I spoke to a couple in a T680 with a 120 inch ARI sleeper. Cool older couple pulling a spread axle reefer who claimed they could still haul 42K if they didn't fill the gray and h2o tanks. That would be a cool way to travel with the wife, though if yours is like mine the sleeper still wouldn't be big enough lol. -
It picked up at 2100 Monday and origannly delivered Thursday but driver had him change it to Friday so he could get new tires on tractor

Will Plymouth NC load early and how long do they take to load,. Heading to Eagan MN for Monday waiting on delivery appt.

Never had any luck getting loaded early there. Parking either there or at the store.
They usually use all the 2hrs or close to it.WalterSobchak and radioshark Thank this. -
I have a stradegy for going out west...tell them I don't want to ever see that area.....Shazam, that'll be all that is offered.
As for the big sleeper, maybe in my youth, but now....my goal is to be home a lot more, and spend less time out here. Besides, my wife refuses to come back out here. 1st year with Crete we saw a car flip in front of us and almost kill the driver, Freightliner had never installed the grease tube for the release bearing on the clutch of my truck, and at 400k, just before my wife's 1st trip into Cali it seized when stopping for fuel in Sparks NV ripping the linkage apart and removing about 1/2 the torque shock springs out of the clutch. Spent 5 days in Reno getting the clutch replaced. Then just before we headed home, she stepped in a chuck hole and broke her ankle, and then Crete decided to swap trucks 1/2 way home. She refuses to even get in my trucks after that.Winnyf1 Thanks this. -
Sounds like how my loads work, only without me asking for extra time, then...since it's my favorite person's zone, it would deliver Friday, and my reload wouldn't be ready until Tuesday, then not deliver until the following Tuesday, no where near any of our yards.

Best way to do a 34 hr reset, meet up with a friend and dance with a devil...
WalterSobchak, Bumper, Pigbacon and 3 others Thank this.
