Yep. No way you can run 8.75 hrs 7 days a week in the OTR cross-country refrigerated world where distant appointments are often set assuming a minimum of 10 hrs will be spent driving each day, for 3-5 days straight and a solo operation.roshea, Bolt Thrower and scottied67 Thank this.

Right, simply stated I had heard that before that even if you’re running teams and you keep about a nine hour a day average…(or 8.75 to be exact) You’ll never run out of hours and you can keep going ad Infinitum!!!However there’s always something that comes up to throw a wrench in the best laid plans.

Exactly, that’s why I said in a previous post… Best laid plans are… In an ideal world 8.75 hours exactly would work out to never having to take a reset. But on our world there’s always an obstacle or adversity to overcome.
