So what does every think of the new home time / days off policy, just announced this week.
My fleet,( check with your brainless, on your fleet's ht policy) no more than 4 days off, no matter how long you stay out, no more banking(saving days off ) Time off must include the weekend, because frieght slows way down on the weekends.
So i guess i need to infor the banks , the doctor's office, any other business i deal with on my days off during the middle of the week, that they now must be open on the weeknds.

That must be an OTR change. Seems to match the standing rules for Regional.

I'm having some trouble getting in to see a dentist because I'm home every other weekend. All the schmucks with day jobs that can go in any day of the week are still snatching up all the friday afternoon/monday morning appointments.

    skibum_63 Thanks this.

When i was on their general mills account, you get 6 days off a month and use them how you wants. I use to take a whole week off in a month.

I'm on a regional run and I got the message no more than 3 days off at a time. They also requested the time be on the weekends for the "freight is slower" reason. Fortunately my dentist has Saturday hours, as for if I need a Monday for doctor appts. I put Dr's appt on Monday in the comment section and don't get a problem. Maybe going back on a dedicated account soon though so will see how that works out. Hoping for the better because these 200-300 miles POS loads are not working. Trying to hold on at least until I can get some medical issues done, but these trolls aren't making it easy.

Im otr and haven't received any message about the new hometime policy. The hometime was what I liked about this company.

That's always irritated me...they send a fleet wide changing some policy, and I might or might not get the message, and then I get a gripey phone call from somebody 'cause I'm not doing it right.

    Well, ya didn't tell me!
