Don't be surprised that after 90 days, miles will drop, and if your otr, you will see alot of one region, that you live 2000 miles from, and your stuck in that region, till it's time to go home.
Then before you can go home, they have you do a local before and after your home time.

ie: pick up and or del rail loads as an example

All company trucks are now E-logs. Didn't think I'd like it at first, but it's turned out not to be too bad (still adjusting). Miles are variable...for me at least, was on a dedicated run with 3000 miles/week. But that went away and now I'm doing about 2100-2500. Pay per mile varies too...lower mileage loads get paid more per mile than longer ones...which is a shell game IMHO. And it's forced per diem pay which is an absolute rip off as far as I'm concerned. Tread carefully before you sign on....it's definitely not like it used to be.

Not all company trucks are e logged yet. I know some company drivers who still run paper. One was just in Mondovi, for serv, and i said get ready for elogs when you come back out, a day later he replied, no elogs on this truck yet. Now one would think , he's at the home office, that they would of flipped the switch to 'ON' for his e logs.
Been hearing from sr. drivers here, that Marten is slowing down on the e log switch, till they get ahold of the problem of having to repower loads all the ime, do to the fact e log drivers are doing thier part, running as hard as they can, but the planners haven't jumped on the ball yet with elogs, still planning trips, with not enough time.

It depends what QC modle the have in the truck at the time you get it.
If it's the MCP 200 or the Omnivision, it will have e logs..... if it's the version before those two, chances are you wont have elogs.

Funny thing about the E-logs, I was just in the 'dovi the other day, chatting with some of the FMs about the e-log situation. They were just as curious as we are about when the planners are going to get on the stick.
