The guy told me to get out of the bay.

I usually have the loaders use the crane to put the tarp on. Unless they take their sweet time and then I'll just do it myself, but you aren't allowed to get on the load anymore.
-
Hey Razor, when'd you finally get outta PPG? I'll be heading back that way in a few hours for another load to Tulsa. I hate running dedicated man. It's nice if you like going home every weekend, but I'm used to 2-3 months out at a time. I'm going stir-crazy

You be safe out there bro and it was good meeting you.

Need info. Have a lot of solid trucking experience (1985-1994). Drove entire US and Canada. Pulled Flatbed, van and reefer (I prefer the flatbed lol unload faster). Stopped driving because I was going through a real nasty divorce. Decided to take some time off. I still have my Class A-CDL and my medical certification. I am 49 years old and in good shape.
The issue is I do not driven since 1994. However, trucking is like riding a Harley Davidson....you never forget lol.
The issue is I am not a green student who just came out of trucking school. It would be a safe bet that any safety committee would want me to go out 30-days with someone to make sure I have the rust knocked off me lol. I want to get back out there with a reliable company. That I can accept and I fully understand it. My DAC report is good. I live in Kansas City Missouri
I remember seeing the Maverick trucks when I was driving and they seemed like a good bunch of guys. I plan on calling the recruitment office tomorrow to see what they have to say.
Any advice ? -
You'll have to go with a trainer here but you're a great candidate. Good luck tomorrow. Ask for Courtney and tell her Tim in 12913 sent ya! ROTFL.
-
That was my story too. I drove back in 2002 but too much time had elapsed for it to count. You'll still have to go out with the trainer but probably won't stay in the truck as long as the newbies. I was with my trainer for about 10 days. He played Solitaire while I drove, lol. Good luck man!

Yeah, plus if you're wanting to go flatbed you definitely want to be with a trainer, since Maverick has a very specific way of doing things when it comes to securing loads, and you want to make sure you do it their way.
