I have applied with both, looking to go back over the road flatbed. I started out over the road flatbed 15 years ago with Overnight Transportation, been driving local since. I'm not sure which one would be the better choice.
Melton or Maverick

Didn't Overnight Flatbed rebrand as UPS Flatbed? I see ads for UPS flatbed needing drivers.
D.Tibbitt, RoadHungryTrucker and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
I'm three years in with Melton and they've been great overall. Occasional frustrations but you'll get that anywhere. I don't know much about Maverick other than they probably have more regional options available.Maverick Griff, D.Tibbitt and RoadHungryTrucker Thank this.

Melton is heads, Maverick is tails....flip a coin. I've talked to drivers that love them and I've talked to drivers that hate them. The only difference I dont think Maverick travels the whole country like Melton does. Dont quote me on that though. Double check
Maverick Griff and RoadHungryTrucker Thank this. -
I worked for Melton, they where great for me, average CPM was about .60cpm with OD loads and hazmat, never worked for Maverick
-
Central oregon truck company is waaay better than both pm me for more details

Your right maverick is east Melton goes westMaverick Griff Thanks this.

Wasn't it Melton that would let you spec out your own truck after so long?
You could get a 13spd instead of a 10 or an "automatic" sleeper and wheelbase size? -
Idk I talked to one of their drivers he wasent so happy and I’ve never seen a specked out Melton truck they look all the same maybe because money isn’t that great for most people there
-
One of those places did that, but I can't remember who it was. I'm thinking it was Melton, not so sure about System or Combined transport. Sure it wasn't COTC.
