That’s Melton. Pretty sure it happens once you hit a million miles. You could pick the truck and run through the build sheet picking what you want

I talked to a driver for Melton. He told me that they buy a driver a brand new truck of their choice if they stay something like 8 or 10 years. Periodically you see Melton trucks that are different colors other than the blue that they use. I saw a green and maroon colored Melton. One was a KW the other a Freightliner

Maverick does do all 48, but you don't see many too far out west.

When you hit a million miles you can spec out your own truck, to a point. I think they give you $2500 to spend on whatever you want for your truck. You can choose a manual or auto. I don't think you can go so far as choosing sleeper/wheelbase.

Most, if not all, of the ones you see out west are glass haulers, specifically float/sheet glass. There are glass manufacturing facilities in Kingsburg and Fresno, CA, as well as Salem, OR, and there are plenty of delivery points out that way.

Maverick Griff and GoldenLad Thank this.
