Now we’re “throw away people”
Already figured that out years ago..
I know it’s an old article but it still applies to our mental health problems for wanting to work in a thankless, unforgiving, depressing, log every day of your life in solitude, oh you get it..

Alone on the Open Road: Truckers Feel Like ‘Throwaway People’

 

Most of my mental health issues for the day will be resolved in 1 hour and 25 minutes when I can drive again.

If I could just slide these tandems 1 hole, I think they'd all be resolved.

 

I, with the aid of a brother trucker, have slid tandems the 1 magic hole, and can now drive again as well.

TOP OF THE WORLD MA!!!!!!!!

 

Why did you need help to slide tandems?

 

This mornings mental anguish is / was the lack of bacon at the TA buffet.

These are all the good things that happened in the last 48 hours-

1) Got truck back from Freightliner and it's running GREAT.
2) Had plenty of cash to pay Freightliner.
3) This load pays well and I'm well on my way.
4) Made through the coups in the communist state having overcome and bested the POS trailer.
5) Had a double Kung Pao Chicken with chow mein yesterday evening at break and a Venti Starbucks, and man did they hit the spot.
6) Got off the road at this nice TA at a decent hour so I can drive during the day and still be on time.
7) Had nice place to take a dump & put myself together this morning, after sleeping like a rhinoceros.
8) Have a nice fresh, delicious, hot cup of coffee.
9) Cats are very happy.

But I just can't shake the fact that they were low on bacon.
I will let this, and the unhappiness of the spouses that post on this forum ( Yea especially that ), be on the forefront of my mind today, causing me unparalleled psychological and emotional trauma.

I will not allow or be thankful to Almighty God for all that I have received.
I will only draw on the unhappiness and mean spiritedness of the unhappy spouses, and people that hate trucking, and probably their general unhappiness as well.

This has been a daily mental anguish update.
