Mercer application still processing

Yeah, I'm really not worried about the MPG at the moment. Kind of dogging the motor out right now to help break her in. I am using cruise cause I'm lazy but I change up the speed every 15 mins. I called the dealer and complained about the rattle. They pretty much said the same thing except they said take it to a dealer and they would make it stop. Lol. I have to admit they have been pretty good about everything so far.

did yours start out like it had a 100hp motor in it too. I don't remember my last truck starting out so gutless, but she might have. And the change I saw yesterday was incredible. I realize it will take me well over a year to get this motor broke in with the miles we run here at Mercer. I guess I was able to break the last on in much faster. Lol. Not that I'm complaining

 

When I picked mine up I bobtailed 1800 miles home, then grabbed my 3 axle 23,000lb trailer and ran 250 miles to switch trailers. I left my shop and thought, dam, what did I do? This thing is gutless. But that first week the power came around. I ran the piss out of mine for 20,000 miles to make sure the rings would seat good.

 

That's what I'm trying to do. And if she pulls better next week I'll be happy as a clam. Like you mentioned I'm still trying to set mine.

 

What engine did you get in that truck CJ?

I got the DD15 with a 13sp.

 

Thanks, after re-reading and thinking about the 505hp, I assumed it was a detroit. It seems that's one of if not THE best of the emissions engines. I love a 13sp too. Nice setup. I never had any interest in WS until I saw yours. Those are nice looking trucks.

Yeah, lots of Mercer threads..lol. I try stay out of the main one, but realized I had posted in it a couple days ago thinking I was in one of these other threads..lol. Oh well.
