    Yes they did! I won't go into to much detail since I only have heard the driver's view points... But what I was told is that Mercer just like every other company had to "trim the fat"!

    I don't. I've got a light blue 379. Pics of it are up here somewhere.

    Hiring? It's 100% O/O. I'm sure they are leasing on trucks. If your not wanting to do the O/O thing, then give recruiting a call & ask if Eli or Jerry has a empty truck. Eli & Jerry are the 2 largest fleet owners.

    Notarps would be able to answer that... He drives for as fleet owner.

    If I'm correct, you get all the same freedoms as a O/O without the expense.

    Redd is right. They expect me to run the truck like it is mine. I do all the figuring on where and what I will do. I know the cpm scale that he wants me to pull for and I have a figure in my head that I will pull for. I just have to factor all that in when I figure my bounce.

    I used to flat years ago. No tarps. When I started with flats local I did not tarp. When I went OTR with flats I tarped, but the legend was already named notarps...:biggrin_2559:

    now mercer has been around as long or longer then i have and im older then dirt, there money is good and they usally have freight to haul. if you like to lease ther as good as any and better then most.
