Mercer flatbed

Hello All. Just want to put my two cents in about Mercer.

I was leased to this company in 2001 thru 2003.
Probably the nicest people I ever ran for and would do about anything for an O/O.

Even loaned me money 3 weeks after I leased on when my wifes brother suddenly passed away to keep me afloat on payments.

Only problem was after 9/11 we ran like hell hauling generators and such to ground zero then in Febuary the next year I could not buy a decent load.

Also depends on where you live. In Ohio my area freight was so cheap that it was awful hard to leave home.

Coming home loaded worked pretty well though.

Again they treated me like they had known me for ever and I hope they still have that attitude toward there drivers.

 

I like to keep my net around 2k. Is this possible pulling a step there?
