I have a ?. I'm Thinking of switching from my own authority to leasing with mercer. I am out of central Illinois and I Currently pull a reefer. I normally stay in Illinois and the boarding states (500 mile radius) and do pretty well doing short runs and am able to be through home fairly often. my ? Is, are there any of you mercer guys that run the same area I run and is it profitable to run the shorter runs and do you stay busy? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Depends on your idea of profitable. You could run that area and average 1.80 with little problem. And probably average 1800 to 2200 miles. Obviously it would take a bit too learn the system here, but once you did it shouldn't be a problem. Pulling a flat of course.

    thanks,
I looked online everywhere to buy a full roll, anything else is ridiculously priced and most I found were too small (not made for flatbed).

I am not with Mercer, and don't run Louisville area.
    I will keep looking

Right now, only run WA to CAli.
Soon hoping to go east running the southern states for a bit of vacation.
Don't supposed you run around WA, Oregon, California?
