Mercer Reefers?

Good afternoon mercer drivers
I'm a driver at mercer I need some help with something I'm getting out of dry van going flatbed I have never done flatbed before wanting to get advice and where to get my equipment from mercer no longer finance equipment no more.any advice will help....also need advice on the do's and dont's thanks

 

See if there is any used equipment in the warehouse. If not just shop around. If money is really tight i have good 16x24 tarps you can have cheap. Say 50% of new price. And old but still usable 8 ft drops...200 for them. That's about 25% of new price. I think i got a couple boxes of bungee cords i can let go also. But no chains, binders, or straps.

Also, cause i just can't help but let the six year old boy in me say it: we tried to tell ya to get a flat when you started.


Edit to add for guys that might considering leasing to mercer. Mercer does still finance equipment for new hires. They require 50 percent down. Not sure why they won't for this guy but i promise you, there is a valid reason to make the guys in charge think it's a high risk.

 

Thanks I would like to buy them could you hold them for me I don't know when I'll be back at yard I'm heading to Florida I'm in ny.now can't load till monday...my trailer been ordered don't know how longit will take I have 30 pepeople ahead of me but I can store them at the house...

 

What I was told to many drivers ran off with equipment they change the rules now they want it paid in full

 

I already have some things on order I was told about everything for flatbed.com not to high

 

The prices buying at mercer are good, cheap as anywhere if ya have to pay shipping

Accumulate it while waiting on your trailer, I also wonder how many of them fancy three door headache racks got ran off with?

 

Don't know I talked to contract relations policy was changed last month...but I'm just waiting on a call...
other question anyone know where I can get a used headache rack beside mercer???
