We always put meat on the grill at home then vacuum seal it and put it in the fridge , pull it out as needed.

A skillet and a microwave are a must or I don't leave the house. eggs and bacon, pancakes, steaks, pork chops. Basically anything you cook on a stove top at home I can make in the truck.

Don't know how many of you have dealt with the insurance here at mercer but unfortunately today, I had reason to. I was at the pilot in meridian ms, guy backs into my truck and trailer. He then pulls off and luckily two drivers blocked him from leaving. The guy barely spoke English, said he didn't know. Right. Anyway, police report made, got my 30 inch hogebuilt quarter and a step box on a brand new 2016 pete 389 less than 30k miles. Needless to say even though no body damage and only parts that can be changed out I was distraught. Then I called our insurance, the lady that handled it for me was amazing. Her first words to me were, "no matter the damage, no matter the other companies insurance, go to a shop of my choice, get the estimate, immediately feel free to repair your truck and it will be taken care of on the spot. Do not worry, breathe easy, this is our problem not yours, we will take care of the other stuff if it takes months it has nothing to do with you." Now I was shocked, I figured there would be delays and problems because the guy that backed into me was putting it mildly a duct tape and glue operation and frankly I figured I was gonna get screwed and just pay it myself. So, I am resting easy, upset, but reassured by a class operation. Got my estimate at Pete for 1700 all in and only set for two hours labor to remove and replace. Again, classy operation on the insurance side.

Not all fuel stops have a discount, particularly TA and Petro. Did you check the current price guide(s) when trip planning to see where the best fuel was? You will also discover those locations where no discount is offered. I've been caught in that trap in the past and it hurts to lose a 50¢ or more discount.

I always trip plan around my fuel stops. I usually know what my next run is so I can always get just enough fuel to get me to cheaper fuel. It because of that that I knew the report sent to me was wrong. And it was. Missed a lil box when setting up the auto reports. Fixed now and I see what I really paid. The report was just showing "retail transactions" which omits the discount price. I guess if someone wanted to try and cheat the IRS that would be a good report to give them. But that's not me.

Every irs agent knows about fuel discounts, so that would be an interesting conversation when you handed over the retail transactions sheet.

As I recall @kona911 had an insurance matter that was handled with the same reassurance. His story was one of the reasons I knew I made the right choice coming to Mercer. Glad your ok and that it was an easy fix.
