Yup I hauled insulation all the time. Edge protectors are a must. Put a twist I each strap and tighten until you hear or see the top ones squish or crinkle a little. Always X strap the front and back with your two inch straps. We threw two straps on the front and back bundles then one strap on the rest in the middle. Don't waste your time with tarps unless they paying you and some places won't allow you to tarp

The pics really help. I have 24 vee boards but they are 12 inch. I have a couple of 2 inch straps to do the X on the front. May have to stop somewhere and get a couple more the X on the back. Thanks guys!

I will be picking up my first ever flat bed load Monday. 38,000lb fork lift. I'm pretty excited.

Well I decided to spend more money on the truck. Replaced a leaking gasket and put 2 new sensors lol. I did buy my gauge for exhaust off Amazon. But I got no clue how to run the power wires. I've found some wires that let me plug it into my fuses so might do that. Getting food for truck.

Has anyone used whole car refresh? Thing makes my truck smell good

When I first started I used to put edge protectors back there but most of the deliveries went to job sites and the shipper said the front and back wasn't a big deal like the sides. They cut it up to make the shapes they need. I remember I half tarped a load and the back of the tarp shredded parts of the insulation, I was scared that I was gonna get in trouble so when I got to the job site the Super told me not to worry because they use the damaged ones for the corners and odd shaped places to put it.
