Ok I'm not sure why you came in the mercer thread for advice, you obviously answer your own question and seem to disregard what every one is advising. If y'all been in this situation this long then what's another 6 months. You think life will be peaches and cream with $3500 truck and trailer payment and have no idea how/where to run??? It's more to it than just being a hard worker and good driver. Good luck with Celedon

Maybe I misspoke on the atmosphere at Mercer...

I think quality should be asking $10,000 down to help weed out some drivers that look like they belong at a fail swift lease lol.
spyder7723 Thanks this. -
No I think we are all just blunt and won't sugar coat.

Hey @duddie Do u know where I are going next?

I know alot of well off people who cry broke.. Just because they're in class and say they're broke doesn't mean that's the truth.. I know a guy who I was in class with had to get airbag fixed in order to pass inspection. He cried broke so they loaned him half the money or something like that. He's not broke. He has a big gorgeous home with several other things.. He just didn't wanna spend his money upfront... Just saying just cause a person cries broke or looks broke doesn't mean that's the story

Yea I think you wanted everybody to sugar coat things but we're all just being honest. I'd love to see everyone doing well and write there own succes story regardless of how they got here. Once again this is by far a family company. Just sit at the drivers lounge and open your hood for more than 5 min and watch how many guys come over to help. Do it at a truck stop and you're invisible.
Pete beat me to it lolspyder7723, roshea and gjcarr03 Thank this. -
Nah what's up lol

I'm see if we cross paths to give ya these binders. Overslept today so won't make Louisville before 5 lol. Just didn't wanna get up.

I don't need things sugar coated, but tactful responses and a little mutual respect goes a long way. Like I said, y'all don't know us. We're being lumped into a certain group and judged by what some (I'm sure majority) of the people in that group have done.
And the family company is what we want. We don't need hand holding. My husband is smart and he's not a newbie truck driver. Almost 11 years driving, accident and incident free.
Yes, his current job has been getting us by, but it's the oilfield. Honestly, it's more up and down than freight. It's going okay right now, but that'll change next week, I'm sure...
