I think some people including myself take the look in the mirror garbage as self righteous babble. I mean you can make money pulling a van but you can also make money digging ditches. The question is what is considered "making money" and what is subsistence. To me the van deal was little more than subsistence and I have a feeling that without a built in loan company I.E Mercer, there are an incredible percentage of guys who are a blowout or engine repair from bankruptcy. Now that's not making money.

Unfortunately that is true on both the van and FB side here. I don't believe it has to do with what fleet someone is in. Just how different ppl are operating their businesses.

I think it might help everyone (me included) if a simple business class was offered at orientation. Might have helped more when they where letting quality trucks on then now but I doubt it would hurt even the most successful of us to sit in a one day trucking class on running a business.

I suppose many wouldn't want to attend. But I know I would go back and sit in.

Yea I tarped a lot at my old company and we only had 8ft drops so these 4ft tarped loads are a breeze although this load is odd shaped.
