Skate I saw a four digit succumb to the e logs today, he looked defeated and sounded even worse. I don't know what some of these guys reactions are gonna be.

The main change is you can send all paperwork thru it. Includes Bol, maintenance report and mileage report but it doesn't record any mileages.

I hear ya. That's how many are tracked, they just never stopped and called back to end the macro point. Just seems now you can't outrun this stuff.

 

So I decide to get my rear back to work today and the web site is down. Grrrrr

 

Well I guess it's down for the coordinators too. . Maybe I'll just wait till tomorrow.

Yea I have only half convinced myself I was ready to work anyhow. I'm up in Rhode Island so I wasn't expecting much anyhow either.

 

If you are operating legally, what does it matter if a carrier can track the truck? Besides, it's not like someone is sitting at a computer watching your every move. The tracking is more for a just in case scenario. for example, a high risk load of copper and you don't make a daily check call, and don't answer the phone after a couple calls.
