This attitude right here is how guys do well at Mercer. it's the ones that expect it to be handed to them that go broke.

I don't blame you. I wouldn't go for 2.20/mile either. The border crossing really isn't a hassle for me. The paperwork is streamlined through Mercer & much easier now.

I'm not going to run 3,000 miles for the same money I can make running 900. Little more paperwork, I'm good with that!

@spyder7723 Quebec is not my favorite spot anyways. I don't think I will ever go back. Everything is in French & I got food poisoning last time I went there. Yea, I'm good, haha.

Yep. East Canada sucks. The western provinces are not so bad, but again, not usually worth the hassle. Occasionally the rate pays enough to tempt me, but not often.

Well I worked the boards a little yesterday morning, grabbed a load from NJ to IL @ $2.40 pm all miles on less then 2k lbs. Had to tarp in a total down pour, never been so wet in my life. Load delivers Sunday and I reload to TX @ $2.10 pm with 3 miles of DH, no tarp on Monday morning. It took too long to get the second load dispatched to me and I missed out on a $2.35 load back to NJ/NY line :(. I only mention the rates because as I was booking the TX load a LS guy was near me. He stated that $2 was probably the lowest he would book a load to TX and then only if he wanted to go there for some reason. I laughed and told him if I was at LS I wouldn't think of booking a load to TX for less then 2.50. Of course he mentioned that I just took a load at 2.10. So I had to show him how his $2 load was my $1.50 load and my $2.10 was the same as a $2.80 for him. It amazes my how people still don't understand that difference between the companies until you spell it out to them, if then. Of course now he wants to jump ship. I suggested he wait till the industry makes a turn for the better. Lol

    Congrats man. Good news!

If you had the part number, you could get it at pretty much any parts store. Or if you knew the measurement. If it only goes around two pulleys it's rather easy to do the math. Google belt measurement to get the formula. If you don't understand the math, give me a shout once you get all the measurements.
