I think you can make more money under your own authority gross but it cost you alot more than being leased also your always waiting to get your money sometimes I'll end up with two weeks of paper work in the truck that I need to bill and after the costumer or broker gets there paper work your 30days start

Usually by the time you do the run and bill your already 6-7 days in than 30 days than 5 more days sending a check so I tell everyone can you wait 45 days on your money?...........most say NO!!

Also running under your own authority when your stopped you get hit twice with CSA points driver and the company I've been getting insurance prices because progressive jumped my insurance up almost $10,k and every company looks to see when you started your company and what your CSA looks like most look at that before they ever call me

That's a good question, the owners of the company are not wanting to let the current manager go for some reason, he is costing them thousands every week in overtime pay to the guys in the warehouse, ride his ### constantly about it and threaten to let him go, but it seems to be business as usual.
