I'll say twic is a well executed money grab. In all honesty you have one an employer has a good idea on your background. Kind of like hazmat means your not a criminal.

Well 2 hrs later it was cleared up. But I didn't have the same luck around Truckee. Spent all night crawling over the pass. Get to Fallon only to learn I had to go find a range in the middle of the desert in another snow storm. :-/ seems one of the drivers was still stuck up north someplace. Ran into another snow storm getting to this pickup. Now I'm stuck here for a few hours waiting on my clocks.

I am diffenitly getting those socks. Saw a Mercer step driver put those on in like 10 minutes in the middle of the night last night. No crawling under the truck or anything. Lol

And he was bragging about that? That's a lot of work for $2.5. He can keep it.

No kidding, that's a lot of tailgating for 2.50, and if it isn't coast to coast definitely not worth it

Was down in Jacksonville, Fl found out my twic card had expired. Went down to the truck stop and hired an escort just like that. They chased me down before I was even parked. Found out they charge by the hour. I sure was glad the port unloaded me quick. At 20.00 per hour that would have been expensive. I have my new twic card now.

Wow, the ports accept those kind of escorts? I will have to keep that in mind.
