Well, that would include bouncing empty, just to get to Texas! The only cheaper freight is paying someone to haul it to get to Texas. It would be worth it!

If you are going to lease on here, just remember that YOU said that.

That's why I hate going home it's cheap going in and cheap coming out it's hard to leave the house for under your CPM and know going back is the same

Ha, ha, I'm just making a funny. I have my own authority and I stay pretty much in Texas with the occasional trip to Alaska. I am a Mercer approved carrier and the selection of Mercer loads, that I can see, is very poor. I like what I read about Mercer, but I'm not sure I want to give up total control of my business. I was a lease driver and a O/O leased with ATS. I'm sure I can make the system work for me.

I completed my lease, released on the Capitol Lease, paid off my truck in only four months and leased it back on as an O/O. I now have my own authority. I run more ATS loads than loads with anyone else.

i have been home for the last week moving. i got all my shop stuff and the carport moved. the wife can do the rest i have to get back to work.

holy hell the rates are bad this week, what happened? i am seeing $1.25/mi and i have never seen that. and tx is even more dead then usual. ther was loads of towers out of la for over $2/mi but they were goi.g to CA. i was told ca is more dead then tx and there is 12 loads shipping just today alone. thats 12 more trucks to fight for more loads with. i grabbed a load of tires to st louis area for cheaper then i like. actually at $1.65 it is the cheapest load i have hauled. but i have to get out of here, i am broke.bought an rv and spent a bunch fixing it. plus multiple trips per day to the new place in a 10mpg suburban
