SkateboardMan you put it niceley.
Allow me to mention some of the perks. Like when your in the yard after hours, there is 2 coursty cars to use to play around Louisville like Dinner and a movie.
Also Mercertown has Electic hookups so no need to run generator or your truck while there for AC, heat or microwave.
Also Free Laundry at Mercertown. Also 4 small movie theaters with the remotes available.
Not to mention the party Mercer puts on during the Truck show. Free food for a week, even at the truck show.
Also the great prices on equipment like straps, chains, binders, tarps, even will help sell your used boxes or headache rack.
Though I wish they had the sign on bonus when I signed on. I've heard of it, but do not know the details on it.
The only thing I didn't care for was running their base plate. But they allow everyone to run their base plate out, if you already have one. Which I did for several months. Trailer plate doesn't seem to matter though.

Sounds like a good place for a Democrat to work.
It doesn't "take a village" to operate my business. -

I didn't mean the perks or "Village" is why I am here or a reason to lease on.
I just wanted to convey how well they treat O/O's here. I feel the O/O's run the company here. Not any single operator but the general group.
It is a business but more like a co-op than working for a company.
In the last 20 years out here, I've not seen another company like this. I've heard LandStar used to be. Probably gotten to big.horsecrazychic22, Lenrod, 1958Pete and 1 other person Thank this. -

So Mercer does not have a load board system? How do you guys get your freight then, just wait till the cordinator calls you with a load offer? Can you book loads off other places like DAT and ITS??? Just wondering how it works over there.....

We have our own load board, just like you do.
