It will be less. That's how pro rated works.

I'd like to make a comment about how can a truck owner not know this, but that ship has sailed.

It wasn't about not knowing I just wanted to make sure I already had the money order for the 338.52 yesterday just wanted to be sure if it was going to be the same price that's all.... Asking a question is a great aspect not asking and just doing something is the wrong aspect... Some people on here want to bash someone for asking something....hate to see when it happens to you...a person who knows little will go far...a person who thinks they know to much will crash....my opinion if you don't have a positive response don't reply....

I'm not bashing you man. you are asking questions that show how little knowledge of owning a truck you have and therefore, how very unprepared you are for this endeavor. Jesus, you were just on here two days ago asking what you should do since they didn't have the truck available you agreed to buy. Does that sound prepared?

No one was born knowing these things, the successful ones spent months, if not years, researching this stuff BEFORE getting their truck.

This is a very brutal business. A single mistake can set you back thousands of dollars, trying to learn on the fly is a recipe for disaster.

You probably think I'm being a jerk, but what I'm doing is trying to get you to open your eyes and think with your head and not emotions from your heart.

One thing I learned many years ago when I took a turn as a car salesman. The first year or two or even three, people are happy with their purchase. But then, the warranty is over, the vehicle needs repairs, and they are still making those payments. Now the car or truck they loved is killing them.

Honestly when I got into flatbedding a few years ago I called around to a few of the Megas to see if it was possible to sit in on one of their load securement classes...unfortunately nobody would do it. I even offered to pay for the services but they all wanted me to hire on as a driver....so I went to YouTube university lol

Honestly, I think the flat bed stuff is pretty common sense easy. Same with driving.
i always say any monkey can drive a truck. being a successful business owner, not so easy.

How does one see his position on board without actually committing to a load? Or is this even possible ?
