Alright, thanks man. I feel like i'm runnin round like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to chase all the links you post in all the different threads. I think eventually I will stumble upon something.

 

The trailer lease is straight forward, it clearly spells out everything, its simple, make all the payments you get the title, just like I did.

 

I am headed down I 81 then 40 then 75 to i59 to i10 anyone along that route to San Antonio this weekend?

 

The guy I've been talking to said it was a walk away lease. I don't plan on walking away. just wanted to know if it will ding my credit if I did.

 

Fuel right now is about 1.50 and i get over 9 mpg empty. So a hundred bucks to go home. I know what I'd do. But I'd wait till about 3 pm to see if i couldn't get a load.

 

The only way your credit would take a hit is if when you turned it in there was damage and you refused to pay for it. And considering you will have insurance on it, there is no reason that would happen. Basically, if you owe mercer money they will expect you to pay them, just like any one else would.

Sometimes you just have to suck it up and sit down and read honestly. I've been through every page from 1 to 1449 , some of those pages twice just to make sure I read the information provided correctly.

It's worth the time and effort if you intend to give Mercer a serious look.
