Electronic Logging Device a.k.a. ELD

A device used by experienced Mercer drivers to prove they worked as few hours as they say they did. Usually of little or no consequence during DOT inspections as these drivers never even come close to a "normal" full day of trucking as defined by their peers or drivers that have not yet become Mercerized.

 

LOL. That's my problem, I don't work enough.

I gotta stop coming to louisville. The food is just to good here. Russell and his wife went all out for this weekend. Pasta, wings, bbq pork, rice, beans, a ham. And just in case that wasn't enough someone ran out for 4 huge tubs of ice cream.

 

I had a meal there that was just shy of Christmas. I kid you not, very good. It was a great recharge after being out on the road for three weeks.

 

Hubby was there. Said he had a little bit of food. He skedaddled when the folks watching the game got loud. (Nothing against ya'll...but the man doesn't like loud. It's why we live in the bootoolies and he drives a truck, LOL) He had a good time soaking up the knowledge that was being thrown around. It's not that he's completely anti-social, but he is quiet.

 

As long as he wasn't the dude that ordered pizza when Russell and crew had spent the entire day cooking. That would be unforgivable.
