Pfft I went back to work today. Could only make it to Jubitz, less than 300 miles. Oh well nice long day. Lol

 

Ha. My first load after a long break is always like that. I can't even make it or of Florida without a break. Elogs are gonna hurt.

 

LOL, I know I can't get a full day in my first day back. I don't even try. I just book loads that have a little extra time on them so that I really don't have to worry about it. Starting before a weekend helps. And these loads usually run over the weekend. It's the main reason I like them so much. Well that and the weight is under 5k, takes 5 mins to load and they are the only thing that still pays a decent rate.

 

And all I see for next week is a OD paying normal flat rate

 

Yeah, it's dried up in CA, looks like I may be here awhile

 

I grabbed another load straight to the house where I just came from.

LOL there was 2-3 of them. But that just means I'll be home for another week. Lol

 

Cj, i know you love your new truck, but the old paid for one makes all the time spent at home a little more enjoyable and worry free.

 

I haven't told the story of what happened with the old truck the day I traded it in just 3 miles from my destination. But let's just say it would have been a year of payments and a month of downtime if I had kept it. So no, this is much cheaper and less stressful.
